Whole Cow -- You'll end up with around 390-440 lbs of dry aged, vacuum packed, freezer ready ground beef, steaks, roasts and offal. The weight will vary depending on the size of the cow and how you choose to have the cow butchered. The final price will depend on the hanging weight of your particular cow but we aim for a hanging weight of around 700 lbs. Our hanging weight price is $5.50/lb. This includes all processing cost, dry aging and vacuum sealing. We know this seems confusing so just give us a call and we can talk you through the process.
Place a deposit to begin your custom beef order. Once your cow is ready to be taken to the processor we will contact you to fill out a cut sheet. You get to make the choice on how the beef is processed by filling out the custom cut sheet with your preferences. An extra charge will be added it you want cube steak, sausage, or beef bacon.
You will receive an email requesting you order and pay for the final transaction shortly before your cow is processed. This email will include your hanging weight and final price due that will have your deposit credited to you. After we pick up your order from the processor you will receive an email letting you know it's ready for pick up.
For a whole cow you will need approx. 16-18 cubic feet of freezer space.
